Free calculator · honest math, no affiliate cable deals

What would cutting cable actually save you?

Punch in your cable bill and check what you really watch. We’ll build the cheapest streaming lineup that covers it — and show the honest math, including the months it doesn’t make sense.

Check your statement — TV + box rentals + broadcast fees + regional sports fees. Most OBX cable TV bundles land between $90 and $160.

Want us to set the whole thing up?

We do cord-cutting conversions all over the Outer Banks: the right streaming gear on every TV, antennas for free local channels, and everyone’s logins working before we leave.

Good to know

The one thing you need before cutting cable

Solid internet. Every TV streaming at once rides on your connection — 100+ Mbps and good WiFi coverage at each TV is the difference between “why didn’t we do this years ago” and “put the cable back.” Run our speed test first.

The antenna trick nobody mentions

Local ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and PBS are broadcast free, in full HD — better quality than cable’s compressed version. On most of the Outer Banks a $40 flat antenna pulls the Norfolk/Hampton Roads stations; results vary south of Oregon Inlet, where streaming locals via YouTube TV is the fallback.

Don’t stack subscriptions — rotate them

The cord-cutter’s cheat code: keep one or two core services, then subscribe to one extra at a time, binge it, cancel, rotate. Everything is month-to-month. A household that rotates instead of stacking typically saves another $300+/yr.
