Do you really come up from the Outer Banks?
Yes. OBXtec is based in Kill Devil Hills, NC, about 90 minutes from most of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. We schedule Hampton Roads work in dedicated service days and quote every job flat, with travel already included, so there are no surprise trip fees.
Which areas do you cover in Hampton Roads?
Virginia Beach including Sandbridge, Chesapeake, and Norfolk. For larger projects we also take work in Suffolk and Portsmouth. If you are not sure whether your address qualifies, call and we will tell you straight.
Are you an internet provider?
No. We install and fix the equipment in your home or rental: routers, mesh WiFi systems, wired ethernet, network racks and cameras. You keep your internet plan with Cox, Verizon or whichever provider serves your street, and we make it actually work in every room.
