What drives the per-drop price
Three things, and we will tell you where your house lands on each: the path (attic-accessible runs are quick; fished two-story interior walls are not), the count (multiple drops in one visit share the setup time, so the second and third drop cost less than the first), and the finish (surface raceway is cheapest, in-wall plates look like the house was built with them). Every drop is terminated, tested and labeled — cable that is not tested is decoration.

What does an ethernet drop cost in Virginia Beach?
Wiring is quoted per drop, and the per-drop price depends on the run: an attic-accessible run to the room above is the easy end; fishing cable through a finished two-story wall to the far side of the house takes longer and costs more. Is Cat6 worth it over WiFi?

Can you run cable in a finished house without wrecking walls?
Usually, yes. Attics, crawlspaces and closets carry most runs invisibly; where a wall has to be opened, we tell you exactly where and how small before you approve anything. Clean finish plates, labeled at both ends.
Do you wire new construction or renovations?
Yes — pre-drywall is the cheapest wiring you will ever buy. If you are building in Chesapeake or renovating in Virginia Beach, get the drops and access-point locations roughed in before the walls close.
Whats the difference between this and what an electrician does?
Electricians run power; many will pull a data cable but few terminate, test and certify it, and fewer still design where drops should go for a network. We do the design, the pull, the termination, the testing, and the router end of it — the whole job, not just the cable.
